Privacy policy

1. Information we collect

• Account details — name, mobile number, email address, and password (stored as a hash, never in plain text).
• Linked payment details — a tokenised reference to your bank card, and/or your UPI ID.
• Transaction metadata — date, merchant category and amount for payments made through a linked card or UPI ID, used only to calculate cashback.
• Usage data — pages visited and actions taken on this site, collected to improve the product and fix issues.

We do not collect your card PIN, UPI PIN, net banking password, or one-time passcodes, and we never ask for them.

2. How we use it

• To create and maintain your account.
• To match your eligible payments to the correct cashback category and rate.
• To credit cashback to your passbook and process redemptions to your bank account.
• To respond to support requests and prevent fraud or abuse of the platform.

3. Card & UPI data handling

Card numbers are tokenised at the point of entry using industry-standard tokenisation — Perkora's systems store a reference token, not your full card number. UPI IDs are stored to identify eligible payments only; Perkora cannot initiate a payment from your UPI ID or bank account.

4. Sharing of information

We share the minimum information necessary with regulated banking and payment partners solely to verify and process cashback-eligible transactions and redemptions. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your data with advertisers.

5. Data retention

We retain account and transaction data for as long as your account is active, and for a period afterward as required to meet record-keeping obligations under Indian law. You can request deletion of your account as described below.

6. Your rights

In line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by writing to privacy@perkora.in. We'll respond within 30 days.

7. Cookies

This site uses essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember basic preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

8. Security

We use encryption in transit and at rest, tokenisation for payment details, and access controls limiting who on our team can view account data. No system is completely immune to risk, and we encourage you to use a strong, unique password.
