A passbook, not a points game
Perkora was built on a simple irritation: reward programmes that pay you in expiring points, app-only vouchers or "miles" you'll never use. We wanted something that reads like a bank passbook and pays out in rupees.
Why we started
Most cashback and rewards apps in India ask you to change how you pay — a new wallet, a new checkout flow, a new app to open before every purchase. We wanted the opposite: keep paying exactly the way you already do, with the card and UPI ID sitting in your phone right now, and let the rewards happen quietly in the background.
The passbook format wasn't an accident. It's the format Indian households have trusted for decades to track money honestly — a running ledger, not a leaderboard. That's the experience we set out to rebuild for cashback.
What we believe
- Cashback should be cash. Rupees to your bank account, not points, coins or vouchers with fine print.
- Nothing new to carry. Perkora works alongside your existing card and UPI ID — it isn't a new payment method.
- Plain rates, plainly shown. Every category rate and cap is published on this site before you link anything.
- Your data stays yours. We collect only what's needed to match a payment to a cashback rate — details in our privacy policy.
Where we're based
Perkora is headquartered in Bengaluru, with a small support team that also works from Pune. We build for India first — every rate, cap and redemption rule on this site is designed around rupees and Indian banking rails.
